Wanted: Local Young People To Lead The Way!

The Centre for Building Social Action (CBSA) is pleased to announce a new opportunity for 14–17-year-olds, living in Carmarthenshire, to help change the lives of young people across the County by joining their brand-new Youth Board.

The CBSA Youth Board will be a collective of local young people, working alongside the Charity Trustees, to ensure that their voices are heard. The Youth Board will play an active role in making decisions and helping to create projects specifically for young people, all across Carmarthenshire.

Every member of the Youth Board will also act as an Ambassador for the CBSA, representing young people from different backgrounds and communities at policy events and in the media.

CEO of CBSA Mike Theodoulou, said “Young people remain at the heart of what we do, and we want the youth of Carmarthenshire to help us develop new projects and tell us what is important to them and their peers.”

You don’t need any qualifications or experience, just a passion for providing better opportunities for all. This is a really exciting chance to make sure our young people get what is important to them.  View our short film here to learn more

Anyone aged 14-17 who lives in Carmarthenshire can apply, just contact us on 01554 779910 or click here for an application pack.
