Youth social action refers to activities that young people do to make a positive difference to others or the environment. There are lots of ways that young people can take practical action to make a positive difference.

#BeTheChange gives young people a voice in making their community a better place to live. It recognises that often young people want to make a change in their communities but don’t know where to start.  

How to get involved?

Are you aged 14-24? - a budding filmmaker, environmentalist or social media influencer? Join #bethechange and be heard! 

We need YOU to create and run a media campaign to share what we find out about plastic pollution and how it affects us in Carmarthenshire. 

We'll be using film, vlogs, social media and stories, as well as carrying out beach cleaning and an upcycling workshop with recovered plastics.
