Community Garden Spring Refresh
Foothold Cymru staff and volunteers made use of a sunny day to prepare the community garden ready for the spring.
The team got busy weeding and preparing beds, cleaning out the polytunnel ready for seeding and cut back the brambles and weeds along the hedgerows.
The garden has also seen the addition of our new outdoor classroom. A fantastic new space as part of our Environmental Learning Hub Project.
This new project is launching soon, and we can’t wait to share all the details.
Thanks so much to everyone that came down to land a hand on our refresh day.
Keep an eye out for our next community gardening day as we continue to complete jobs around the garden.
All the vegetables which are grown in our garden support our community shop which is located at the Lord Arthur Rank Centre.
