Carmarthenshire based Centre for Business and Social Action (CBSA) will be hosting, in partnership with Kidwelly Town Council, a community consultation event with a difference. Held at The Princess Gwenllian Education Centre in Kidwelly, it will be a chance for local people to share their thoughts and ideas on what is needed in their neighbourhood whilst having fun.
Alongside the informal consultation, local community groups will have stalls and information about what is happening in the area. There will also be activities to keep you and the children occupied including; pizza making workshops and circus skills training -Mike’s Donkeys will be attending. Light refreshments will also be available.
CBSA has been delivering community-focused projects for over 30 years and Janice Morgan CBSA’s Managing Director has never lost sight of the importance of involving local people in the design and delivery of its project. “Local people are the experts about what’s needed in the area; what services are missing or could be better; which localities are well served, which aren’t and who are completely ignored”
Local businesses including Gravells, The Co-op and Burns Pet Nutrition are kindly supporting the event.
If you want the chance to have your say and influence what’s going on in your area come along to the Princess Gwenllian Education Centre, Hillfield Villas, Kidwelly SA17 4UL on Saturday, Feb 3rd between 9am and 3pm.
Everyone is very welcome to attend. Please come along and meet the CBSA staff and others in your area.
